From individual engines to fleet repairs

For serial power pack repairs, we operate a power pack repair line at our Lingen site, which ensures efficient processes from delivery, diagnosis, documentation, and repair to spare parts management and test bench running. The drive units are completely overhauled at specified maintenance intervals. This includes the overhaul of the entire power pack on the base frame, including the engine, transmission, cooler with hydraulics, and generator. We have a high-performance CNC machine park and modern engine diagnostics at our disposal for this purpose.

Test benches for power packs and railway motors

This means that the units are ready for immediate use after overhaul – a decisive advantage for operators of critical infrastructure in the transport sector.

On-site service: 365 days a year

Bücker + Essing supports you with technical service directly on site – 365 days a year if necessary. We carry out maintenance work in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and, if required, take care of the installation and removal as well as the transport of your power pack to our repair facility in Lingen for overhaul.

Our mobile service team is also available for troubleshooting and repairs outside the maintenance cycle. With the help of mobile repair methods, many types of damage can be repaired directly on site, for example, through mobile honing, cylinder liner fitting repairs, or cold gas coating for component rescue.

While Bücker + Essing offers repair solutions for railcars used in local public transport, our sister company MWB Power focuses on locomotive engines from all leading manufacturers. The range of services also includes railway gearboxes, engine components, couplings, bearings, and bearing passages.
