ENERGY FROM REFUSE AND BIO-WASTE
It is not only possible to operate a CHP plant with fossil natural gas, but also with regenerative fuels such as landfill gas, sewage gas and marsh gas. Using a Pro2 special gas combined heat and power station you can recycle and dispose of special gases in a sustainable and efficient manner.
CHP units based on special gases are therefore the perfect solution for refuse and sewage management and mining. By using residual materials such as refuse and bio waste as well as landfill, sewage and mine gases, you not only dispose of them professionally, you also generate environmentally friendly and CO2 neutral electricity and heat.

FLEXIBILISATION OF A WASTE FERMENTATION PLANT
ABO Kraft & Wärme operates a refuse fermentation plant in Rhineland-Palatinate. In the refuse fermentation plant, approx. 24,000 tons of bio waste are converted annually into 2.3 million cubic meters of biogas. An initial combined heat and power plant generates electricity for approx. 1,500 households and the waste heat from the CHP is used as process heating. In order to increase the efficiency, the operator has decided to expand the existing CHP, dating from 2008, using a Pro2 CHP with new...mehr erfahren...
ELECTRICITY AND HEAT FROM REFUSE
Efficient disposal of landfill gases: For the Limburg-Weilburg waste management company, the acquisition of the new combined heat and power station for the waste landfill in Beselich was not primarily concerned with energy generation, but with the disposal of landfill gases, which are produced by the decomposition of the refuse on the landfill site. With the Pro2 landfill gas CHP plant, the company can achieve this goal - and today supplies more than 600 households with electricity. The CES...mehr erfahren...
RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION FROM BIO WASTE
Every year, the Lemgo composting plant produces 10,000 tonnes of compost and 10,000 tonnes of fermentation products from around 43,000 tonnes of organic and green waste. The Gesellschaft für Abfallentsorgung Lippe mbH (waste disposal corporation) has equipped its composting plant in Lemgo with new Pro2 CHP units. This generates an annual energy output of 6 million kWh from the landfill gases. It supplies 1500 households with regenerative energy and thus contributes to the saving of 30,000 tons...mehr erfahren...
