CHP FOR AGRICULTURISTS AND ENERGY FARMERS

In the case of agriculturists and energy farmers, the focus is on biogas for operating their CHP plants. The conversion of biogas into electricity need not only cover one's own heat and electricity requirements, but excess heat or electricity can also be fed into local and district heating networks or into the public electricity grid.

By using locally available raw or residual materials - such as energy crops, feed residues, slurry or bio waste from agriculture - you generate CO2-neutral electricity and heat. Pro2 Biogas CHP units integrate perfectly into the environment due to their compact installation in buildings, in a concrete sound hood or as a container version and are therefore not only a good choice for farmers, but also for municipal energy suppliers, hospitals or waste disposal companies.

OPTIMISATION OF A BIOGAS PLANT

Efficiency increase for the Brunswick Wastewater Association: We have significantly increased the efficiency of an existing biogas plant in Hillerse by replacing the generator and peripherals. The plant got a new CES/MWM aggregate, type TCG 2016 V /12C, which achieves an electrical output of 600 kW. 

 

UPGRADE FOR A CHP AT A CLINIC

The Dr. Fontheim Clinic in Liebenburg near Brunswick is a specialist clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics. It has 280 treatment spaces for adults and an affiliated psychiatric nursing home. The clinic uses a biogas CHP plant for its own power supply. In order to increase the efficiency of the existing CHP unit, the Pro2 team renewed the generator set and peripherals: The core is a CES/MWM genset type TCG 2016 V 12C, which today achieves an output of 600 kW.
